louises blog

hi louise hope you are well, thanks for the great blog, i really enjoyed reading it! its nice to hear/learn about topics other than just birds, very interesting. is there anything going on such as the dawn/dusk walks? missed last one due to work, really want to try & make next one. paul.

  • Hi Paul,

I hope that you are well.

I'm glad that you are enjoying the blog! Feel free to suggest any topics you want us to blog about!
The Dawn Chorus walks are great! Our Dawn Chorus events take place in May, usually on the bank holiday weekend (so everyone can recover from the early morning!) We have them in May as its a good time for bird numbers, and not too bad time wise - it can start very early in the morning! The Twilight Night events are in June, we do have a number of guided walks throughout they year that may be of interest.

We have a Wildlife Walk on Sunday 10 October from 11 am-1 pm, we'll be exploring the reserve and seeing what is about at this time of year.
On Saturday 30 October, 2-4 pm, we have a walk having a look at birds, and dicovering how and what they eat.
On Saturday 6 November, 2-4 pm, there is a stroll round the reserve with a guide.

    I hope that helped!
