Well that was different (well it was for me anyway)...
In early again, started at the Draper hide, some lovely Shovellers, and a few scruffy Teal doing their thing, and right at the back of the area, a single solitary Snipe... awwww.
On to the Gadwall Hide, would you believe there was actually some Gadwall there and at my count well over 30 Snipe, thats the most I have ever seen in one place, a lovely start.
And then onto the Kingfisher Hide, arriving there around 10-ish, luckily for the next 3 hours the Kingfisher showed reasonably well, first the male and then latterly the Female who on the last time I saw her, headed into the trees on the left of the pond (where she normally goes to). And disappeared for the rest of the day, Left around 4pm and had not seen her or him again...
However, met some really nice people again today, David and Steve, nice chatting about where to visit in Scotland... And where to get some great Nikon kit.
I might just go back in the morning...
