It looks like an adult male to me - full-length bill with no pale tip, and bright body plumage. Nice pic :)

It looks like a ring (the legs are the same colour as the feet). Just found some pics (here: www.stuartpics.co.uk/kingfishers-at-rye-meads.html) that shows the breeding male last year was ringed, presumably it's the same bird.
Think you put wrong photo up or you dozed off! It is the Adult Male, the twice on that branch today. I was there all day today and the fledglings kept to the bushes. The only time one came out - it went straight back without stopping.
