Pay your money, take your choice, just so you know, I will shock you now, I pay £150.00 a day for a private Kingfisher hide.
Agreed
Pleaae get your facts correct, the charge was for ANYONE who want to go... no just photographers, why have so many of you got a phobia over photographers
If you want to go halves, let me know. :o
I fear videographers. Does that make me a bad person? ;-)
No Prash
It has been interesting to see the different views in regard to the prospective new hide at the new kingfisher nest bank. In some ways it is rather academic as there are no kingfishers currently using this new bank. In fact there is a risk of the kingfishers who now use the artificial nest bank relocating to the new bank and where would that leave us? I would ask that the emphasis be on updating the existing hide at the kingfisher bank by opening up the downstairs unused part of the hide next to the disabled area. This would increase the current hides capacity by about a third, this option would be cost effective and open to everyone

Hi Leslie,
I agree with you, I have seen a Kingfisher checking out the new bank that's all.
I would not update the bank, you know, if its not broken do fix it, the birds are settled with it, but you are 110% right about the down stairs.
Hi Ray
I think you have misunderstood my last posting. I am not suggesting carrying out any work on any nest bank. I would like to suggest that work be carried out to enhance the current kingfisher hide by extending the current ground floor access.
Regards
Leslie
With you all the way Leslie.
