Day started quite foggy, but as the morning progressed the sun pushed through and it turned out to be a lovely day the reserve is looking wonderful the colours of the willows at the moment are amazing Around the reserve- from Bridge one a quick look over the meadow we saw a Grey Wagtail feeding on the mud, several ducks still making the most of the flooded meadow. Several Pochard around on the lagoon + tufted Ducks. Trails were busy lots of mixed flocks Blue tits, Great tits, Long tailed tits around ,Dunnock Robin, and Wrens as we walked along we saw a bird flying across the trail as it came around and landed on the top of the pylon by the Kingfisher Hide we managed to see it was a Peregrine and we got under the pylon from some good views before it flew off over the lagoon, Gadwall Hide Tufted Tuck - Shoveler - Gadwall Heron - Cormorant - Swan - Canada Goose - Starling - Teal Black Headed Gulls and still good numbers of Lapwing Cettis heard all over the reserve still not managed to catch a glimpse yet
