Again lots of ducklings on the Tern and Gadwall lagoons.

1 Kingfisher - briefly in the morning1 Green Sandpiper in the morning turned into 7 Green Sandpipers by mid-afternoon; there's a pattern developing here.24 Lapwing + Gadwall, Mallard, Canada Geese, 2 Dabchick, 1 Stock Dove, 6 Common Terns of which 2 were juveniles3 Little Egrets appeared in time for the closing walk.
From the Tern Hide
1 Black-tailed Godwit - around for most of the day and still there at closing time.Lots of ducklings of various types and sizes
From the Gadwall Hide
Several "brown" juvenile Black-headed Gulls and at least 4 juvenile Common Terns2 Dabchick
From the Kingfisher Hide
The two adults were in and out of the new nest hole quite a few times during the day but rarely posed for photographs. The new nest hole is partially obscured from view by an elderberry bush which makes it a little more difficult to watch them coming and going.
