Today at Rye Meads (6/5/13)

1 Garganey (male) from the Tern hide but also seen from the Draper hide
2 Little Ringed Plover from the Draper hide

Lots of Blackcaps, Sedge Warblers, Reed Warblers, Cetti's Warblers and Garden Warblers. There was also a report of a Grasshopper Warbler from the Warbler hide but the observer was not too sure and also a Hobby over the grazing marsh.

Over 275 visitors and many who had seen and/or photographed the Kingfishers and were happy bunnies.

It was a good day to be on roving duty; I enjoyed it a lot.
