Afternoon all,
Just a quick update for wildlife sightings -
The stars of the last couple of days have been a couple of white storks! They were first spotted on Wednesday 11, and we have just been watching the two flying around over the reserve.
The two firecrests are still showing nicely in the woodland.
Barn owl, short-eared owl, marsh harrier, sparrowhawk, kestrel and peregrine have all been seen.
The wader number are building up - lapwing, redshank, snipe and black tailed godwit showing all over the reserve.

The duck numbers are still high - with pintail, shoveler, wigeon, mallard, and gadwall showing well.

Spring is in the air - chiffchaff and blackcap have already been singing, and we've seen quite a few big bumblebees!
