Morning all

Back from a cracking week on Corsica and straight into a Dawn Chorus!  Got here a little before three this morning and even then the first Skylarks were singing away in the darkness along with Reed and Sedge Warblers and a couple of 'tewing' Redshanks. The guys are still out with the visitors on the walk and the smell of sausages and bacon is keeping me awake!

It is a bit breezy today but the sky is clear and the sun is shining after a fantastic moonset earlier on.

Not sure what they have seen and heard on the walk but from where I am there has been a female Marsh Harrier flying around and a couple of early rising Hobbies amongst the Swifts.

There are still places on the next two Dawn Chorus Walks and all the Dusk Walks (the first of which is on the 26th) as well as the first Insect Afternoon Walk on this coming Saturday.
