Over the last few weeks, we have had several remote camera traps out in the middle of Aveley Marsh.  We have been using them to ascertain whether we have any foxes inside the electric fence and I am pleased to report that we are now confident that we have a fox free zone.  If, however, you see a fox inside please do let a member of staff of volunteer know as soon as possible.

Our cameras also pick up other wildlife including other mammals such as Brown Rats and the odd Stoat and a few birds as well to make reviewing a little more interesting...

Stars this week were the Shelduck who all seem to be squabbling over just who will move into one of the old fox burrows out in the middle.  One female seems to be emerging from the hole, only to find the attendant throng of desperate suitors and home-hungry females!
