21c on Friday 11c today.....  with persistent rain and low cloud.  Its started of light south easterly this morning but has now swung round to the west and at last the sun has peaked through.  The duck and geese out on Aveley have been very skittish but it seems to be helicopter disturbance rather than raptors which I reckon will have been keeping well out of the way today and are probably feeling a little puckish.

The solitary juvenile Brent Goose is still with the Canada flock and the Golden Plovers are now over the 100 mark.

A flock of 50 Fieldfares were seen on Saturday and the Grey Wagtail showed exceptionally well for David Dent.
