The lingering fog of the last few days has certainly given us some amazing Turneresque skies of an evening
And it has also made seeing the White-fronted Geese a little tricky. They were up at Belhus Woods CP today for a while but headed back onto the reserve in the afternoon. Russ Sherriff got some good shots infront of the Butts Hide on Tuesday.
A single Woodcock was seen by Jerry H on his opening up circuit as well as this magic sunrise shot to out do my sunsets!
And to finish up the day James Hanlon got this wonderful shot of some of our Parakeets heading south but from a totally different perspective to normal...

Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
