Nice to be back....

I had not been in ten minutes today when Andrew saw the Bittern on a brief flyby near the woodland.  I was in the wrong part of the building and was too slow... I went for a walk and again missed it as it had another brief flap.  ggrrrrrr....

Redemption came at 3pm with Jerry shouting 'Bittern!' down the radio. We were then treated to a full flyby over the Purfleet Scrape before it doubled back to the Woodland.  I even got off some record flight shots.

I am a happy bunny.....
