Dare I say it.... autumn is coming. I had four Black-tailed Godwits on Monday out on the pool snad this morning that has gone up to 23. All are adults in rich chestnut plumage and I suspect that they are fresh in from Iceland. Hopefully this is a taste of things to come in the coming weeks as the water levels drop and become more appealing to passage waders.....
