Hi all

This is just a quick note from the team at our wonderful Titchwell Reserve in Norfolk

Please, please, please spread the word - Titchwell Marsh Nature Reserve is OPEN this summer.

Despite any rumours you may be hearing from the public we are open all summer. There will be periods when access along the path to the beach is restricted and for a short period this will mean it will not be possible to view the lagoons at Titchwell, but we remain open. Our visitor centre and severy will continue to be open seven days a week; we will be providing a range of special walks looking at different aspects of the reserve and for the duration of the school holidays, five days a week (19 July-3 September) we will be providing a range of free family activities.

For all the latest information on path restrictions and events please direct all visitors interested to our pages on the website or call 01485 210779.

As for Rainham; still quiet today although the wardening team have started topping Purfleet scrape and the Grey Seal has been mid-river over high tide munching Bass....

mmmmm......
