... and still they keep coming! Baby birds are issuing forth from every available spot at the moment with a definite splurge of Reed Warblers amongst them! All the parents are singing again so ding ding... seconds out! Round Two!

Meanwhile Sand Martins are zooming all over the marsh and now have their first youngsters in tow. They do not breed here but do so locally in an old pit. You can still see the yellow gape marks on these juveniles. (Sue Harvey)
