Not quite sure what happened to 'spring' to today other than it obviously sprung a leak. I do not think that those migrants seen (which included Yellow Wagtail, both Reed and Sedge Warblers and a brief female Ring Ouzel) were particularly impressed with the drizzly rain and howling, cold wind.

As for the frogs.... not a day for lounging around soaking up the golden rays of springtime.

This particular beast is one of our more peculiar variants being a sickly shade of yellow rather that the vaguely normal greens and browns and to be honest looks very much like he was out on the town last night, downed ten pints of Old Peculiar in the local hostelry and then popped into the local for a Ruby Murrey...

The expression on his face says it all really...

Definitely 'morning after' eyes!
