The cuttings that we made into the reeds in the late autumn have been most beneficial and as hoped, many species have been seen using them either as a gap to quickly get across of more often as a place to safely look for food.
Clive Watts got this opportunistic shot of a Cetti's Warbler down near the woodland feeders the other day while Water Rails have become much easier to see and even the Bittern was seen posing in one of them!

Did just that at around Lunchtime today in the same area. I also had a good view of a Cetti's ,which is good for me, I only hear them! Thanks for the cuttings Howard.
