The gardens in front of the visitor centre are once again looking their best with swathes of purple Hidcote Lavender , pinky-grey Ice Plants, glaucous green Rosemary and lime yellow Lady's Mantle. Just need some sunshine and warmth now to encourage all those pollinators to come out and find them. I want to arrive at work to the sounds of hundreds of humming bees; speaking of which I had a Queen Shrill Carder Bee on the heavenly scented Honeysuckle there on Thursday evening!

Will pass on your appreciation and glad you were inspired
The garden team deserve a mention. They do look great and have inspired me in planting up my little patch. Although I have used French Lavender and Gum Cistus in place of the Roses, in a nod to Monfrague (Spain) which always wows me.
May all your Sandpipers be Curlew.
