Five different Marsh Harriers have been seen making a total of eight since Friday (including Mr Wonky with his damaged leg who was seen on Wednesday) with two males quarreling out on Aveley with the Ravens looking on.

Pintail came back onto Purfleet Scrape in the afternoon and Ian disturbed a Jack Snipe with the digger which the had a good fly round.

A few Fieldfare and Redwing flew over but not many waders came in on the high tide.
