Happy New Year!
Update to parking charges at RSPB Pulborough Brooks – introduction of lower charge for short-stay parking.
We’ve reviewed our parking charges and for those visitors who are simply popping in for a short visit the parking charge will be £1 for up to an hours parking (rather than the current flat charge of £3). The parking charge can be paid using the ‘PaybyPhone’ app or at our welcome hut.
All visitors should please check in at our welcome hut. There are no parking charges for RSPB members and blue badge holders can also park for free.
For shop customers the free short stay ‘pick up’ car parking close to the visitor centre remains free (maximum stay 20 minutes).
If you’re staying with us for more than an hour the £3 parking charge will still apply. In addition to car parking, the parking charge allows you to use our visitor centre facilities, play and picnic area and the wooded heathland trail.
If you’re heading out onto our wetland nature trail and hides there is an additional entry charge of £4 for adults. (£.2.50 students, £2 child, Under 5’s free)
The income from parking charges and entry fees funds our nature conservation work, managing habitats to protect wildlife and the maintenance of our facilities.
