I just wanted to share these lovely photos taken by one of our volunteers, Graham Osborne. Graham can often be found out and about chatting to visitors and showing them some of our lovely wildlife on a Sunday.

Water voles have been showing well at Redstart corner pond and can also be seen on our Wetland Discovery trail which has re-opened for the summer. We've put out some special floating wooden platforms to help monitor the water voles in these ditches - they use them as latrines to mark their territories. If you see brown droppings that look a bit like tic tacs then you know that there is a water vole in the area!

We're also starting to see more insects, including these two great beetles...
