I've been working on this for a while - mainly because I found it difficult to edit and also because I was waiting to get some better footage. I don't think that's going to happen so I thought I'd release it now. Hope you like it. Please view in 'HD' for the best results.
Staggering!!! A most brilliant production jl of this wonderful little bird, your captures were so dexterous & the slo-mo was a great idea! So many wonderful images & my 'old' ears could hear it's twittering quite easily!! Very sobering fact about starvation in captivity & hope this deters anyone from trying to cage one!! Many thanks for making & sharing!

As always John a great presentation.
Thanks Wendy and David - your comments are treasured!
What a lovely production John, I just adore the tiny Goldcrest (should call the male Elvis after The King !) and as you say, they never keep still for a moment ! don't know how you managed such stunning footage following this speedy Gonzales around the twigs lol Very interesting facts and beautiful photographs, thanks so much for sharing.

A very interesting watch. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Nice footage. To follow the Goldcrest when zoomed in is some feat given how mobile they are. Well done John.
You're getting good at these, John. A most informative and well put together video.
I'm always pleased to get any sort of shot of these mobile little birds so well done on tracking them on video.
What's next on the project list?

TJ, you'd better hope it's not 'forumates at RP 2014' ha ha roflol!!
It would need David Attenborough for that, Wendy. He's used to observing anthropoids in their natural habitat. LOL
