Kirsty enthralled us all with tales of wonderous record breaking birds today. It was a glorious day - here are pictures of us chilling in the sun...

In other news, we decided to start a very interesting ecological survey of our snails on the lighthouse garden wall:

Yay! I'm glad the snails are getting more attention - have you found out what sort they are? This reminds me of an experiment a friend of mine did with her garden snails (which were eating her lettuce). She put a dot on them and took them to the field - they returned. She put a 'W' on some and took them to the Woods - they ~didn't~ return. She now takes all her snails off to the woods!
