Moz’s adventure began when he came to Minsmere with his family to have an exciting day pond dipping! Moz was very excited, not just because pond dipping is super fun but, as all monsters know, the best place to find fellow monsters is lurking in the bottom of ponds!

Hoping to find some of his fellow monsters, Moz was very enthusiastic helping Violet with lots of dips in the pond. He was so excited to see his monstery friends that Moz lost track of the time even when everyone went for lunch Moz was still dipping away!

After having a nice chat with Val and Terry (the local pond monsters) Moz suddenly noticed the time!

Everyone had gone! So Moz rushed to the café to see if the family was there, but they were nowhere in sight! We saw Moz looking very worried in the café so we assured him it would be alright and we would try and find his family by making a lost monster poster.

While Moz was waiting we gave him some tea and a nice cheese scone, he felt much better after that, Monsters always feel better after a cheese scone.

Suddenly a message appeared on our Facebook, it was Moz’s family ! He was overjoyed and relieved that they would be being picking him up the next day. We made Moz a comfy bed for the night and before getting all snuggled up for the night he read one of our bedtime stories - Zog – a favourite of all monsters.

The next day after a good night’s sleep and a hearty breakfast (a sausage butty with brown sauce) Moz helped us set up our shop for the day by cleaning all of our optics and putting up telescopes.

He thanked us for looking after him and for helping to find his family. Moz was delighted to be reunited with Violet, a lovely end to a lovely holiday.

The end .
