Volunteering

Hi Si,

Great to hear you're coming up for two weeks. Volunteering in June could involve doing anything- seabird monitoring, some practical work on the reserve, mending tracks and fences or helping out with our summer kids club. The weather can be very changeable so you'll need good waterproofs, warm clothes and suncream- if you're on a clifftop you may need all three on the same day! We've got wellies, binoculars and other kit for volunteers but may be worth bringing your own if they're more comfortable.

Someone will be in touch nearer the time with all the details of how and when to get here and a bit more general info about the reserve but do get in touch if you need anything specific.

You'll be the only short term volunteer (at the moment- we do get spaces filled at the last minute) but you will be sharing the house with Iain our intern and there will be day volunteers coming in to help on specific days as well.
