Just to clarify the situation: THE VISITOR CENTRE IS STILL CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC. This is only until the building inspectors sign off on the work that has been done, so we are hopeful that it will not be long - we certainly want it to be available for the Meadows Celebration on 2 July, but until we get that critical bit of paper, we cannot open.

Finally, we are OPEN! There's still some interpretation to go in, and a bench to be installed in the viewing room, but the Visitor Centre and toilet block are now usually available from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.
