Here is that incredible moment from 09:45 this morning. Blue FS was quietly eating her fish on the nest when, flying in directly from the north, Seren displaces her.

This is Groundhog Day all over again. By April 14th 2011, Nora had kept disappearing for long periods and only properly took 'ownership' of the nest when another female (Scottish White DA) later on that day showed an interest in Monty.

Monty has just brought Seren a fish, has she come back for good this time?

Thank you Mike for the link and noc for the dialogue.  I didn't see it happen.  My goodness I hope that Blue FS wasn't injured in the altercation.  I have read about such fights before but had no idea they were so vicious.  In 2004 EJ spent a whole week defending the LG nest.  I quote from Chloe/Tigers page:  The battle between White EJ and the female who has persistently attacked her at dawn for well over a week culminates in three separate attacks during the morning, of great ferocity. At 3.15pm White EJ removes a broken egg from the nest. It is thought to have been laid that morning.  Fortunately there is no egg to be broken today.

That is interesting that Nora had a habit of going AWOL
