If she's fresh on migration, she will have been starving and exhausted, which is probably why she's eating none stop and hasn't left the nest since landing there yesterday, I think once she's recovered, she may move on, there's a lot of exploring for her to do, especially as she doesn't seem ready to mate and settle down.

Thanks for that, RtB - I keep the copyright info in open draft emails so it is easy to copy and paste.  It never occurred to me I could put the link in the email to avoid having to use the blog link symbol after pasting into my post, Doh!
