I have lost camera
I keep losing it, PATILY, have to refresh browser and it can take quite a while to get back :-( Maybe too many of us watching?
IMAGICAT
Synchronous eating! I saw FS drop that piece of fish some time ago and wondered if it would be wasted - not with Monty's fabulous fish radar!!!
Tiger and Chloe's Osprey Info
Goodness, from the way she reacts to his attentions, it's not just his leg she'd sink her beak into, given half a chance!
Oh I say!!! She attacked him from behind, he was minding his own business :'(
Sorry the video frame is wrong, it changes every (obligatory, because the stream keeps going down) browser refresh :-(COPYRIGHT = http://www.dyfiospreyproject.com/-http://www.facebook.com/dyfiospreyproject
Did you see that Monty bought a stick into the nest and she had a right go at him pecking at him. ooooooooooooh shes nasty, poor Monty
I've seen her peck at the back of his neck a couple of times Scylla. Not good, is it.
Good morning everyone and thanks for pics, videos and updates!
For those of you that don't do facebook, here is this morning post:
Bore da
07:00 Monty's third girlfriend of the year is still with him. He's brought her three mullet and one flounder since she arrived late yesterday afternoon, the flounder was caught in almost pitch black conditions.
How on earth did he spot and catch a highly camouflaged species of fish in the dark? Amazing - maybe its the orange eyes!
Nora has still not returned, Elin hasn't been back and Seren hasn't been seen since Friday morning. If Nora did return, she would quickly displace Monty's latest squeeze, Blue FS. If Seren or Elin returned (neither of which are carrying Monty's eggs - they weren't here long enough), I have no idea what would happen. Fun and games no doubt. Look out for a blog about Nora in the week and a blog all about technology and live streaming a bit later on today.
Blue FS has just sent Monty off for more fish. This image is called "The Stare". We've all been there lads, haven't we?
Tiger's Osprey News
Maybe she'll be off when she's totally polished off her fish :-? Monty is standing in a cowed position, not even mantling, but I think that's because of the wind.
Thanks NOC.
Monty is persistant in his efforts to mate. I think you should put her on the train Monty
Thank you for the FB blog, NOC :-)
Yet again I am giving up on recording, I know I'll regret it but it's just too labour-intensive. And look at the lovely quality of what we get from DOP :-) They won't let us miss anything important.
