DYFI OSPREYS - 2013

Delighted to see Seren sitting on the nest perch which she seems to have claimed for her own.......having an insistent word with Monty who arrives with nesting material. After he paces it where he wants he tries mating, twice, with Seren but no luck......think it MAY have been because the perch is a bit awkwardd to balance on when you have somebody on your back. Beautiful bird song and twittering and geese flying over.......nice start to the day.........train added to the mix

Several mating attempts by Monty, which continue as I type.  She sounds just like a mild Bynack calling for food (but she does have a fish, you can see it at one point in this vid).

Morning all - lovely early morning scene but I have to mute the sound, Seren is so loud!

Immediately after this shot, Monty came in to mate but as she shrugs him off it looks more like trampoline practice!

Just thinking we should have told Monty "Be careful what you wish for!" LOL.

Morning Patily. Certainly an odd carry on !.

Hope we get some little Welsh chicks this year.......so does Monty Just brought more material and is nestorising Monty persistently tries to mate, trying hard to balance on her back and when he won't take No for an answer sSeren spreads her wings and lifts off from the perch a little.  Wonder why she's so reluctant when she was so receptive when she first arrived?

Sadly, things to do so have to go. Perhaps she'll be in a better frame of mind when she had breakfast!   Enjoy watching
