I do not see any resemblance to Elin either. They were not sexed they would need to have been weighed for that.
There were not ringed as the weather conspired against that.
Tiger Signature
Chick 2 maybe looks slightly like Elin?
Tiger's Osprey News
Just had a quiet moment to catch up so thank you to Chloe, for the interesting Dyfi blog, and to Tiger for the 2010 chicks. I expect their looks may have changed since 'growing up'? By the pics, I can't see a resemblence to Elin myself - but no expert by a long chalk, have enough problems id-ing non LG birds as it is lol
Hard to compare 2010 "chicks" with young adult Elin, but I think she has a look of EJ about her (see her stare), so possibly one of them!
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
I suggested that Elin might be from the 2010 Loch Garten clutch on 5th April when Elin arrived! Just looked it up, that was 51 pages ago LOL!!

That is where my summary comes in

No worry, these are message boards not chat rooms.
Monty on his perch again clutching a fish - any takers?

[/quote] On the subject of chat rooms, at first it sounds great - able to chat in real time. But i have just witnessed what happens when lots of people are posting at the same time. Manic. You lose the position as it scrolls away so fast and it's really hard to keep track of what is being discussed. One poster used the word 'schizo' to describe it - I couldn't agree more. (I am referring to the chat on the Red Tailed Hawk, Cornell lab site). If you want a peek
