DYFI OSPREYS - 2013

She was a record breaking Osprey was Red 06(01) - 28 April was very late then.    

Nora and Monty are such a good match, she did well breeding as a 3 YO... will never forget watching her on the webcam live practising her feeding technique into thin air on the side of the nest god bless her!

In the case of 03/98 we do have a record of her turning up 24 March after her initial return on her first breeding return on 9 April.

I am not saying she will not return just starting now to be concerned.

Red 06 (2001) did have some unusual accomplishments.

Do you mean Nora Keith?  I suppose if she is not back by the end of April then we will have to sadly accept the inevitable, but for now I will try and be positive and wait expectantly every day

Well, this is the sort of weather that Nora was used to last year - perhaps this will prompt her return :-)

I think this was Monty's first visit to the nest early this morning, only stayed a few minutes; then he returned and sat as per BIRDSONG's pic for half  an hour and left again ( a little bit of nestorising done too).

Here's wishing for Nora's return today.

Its raining at Dyfi and Monty looks a sorry soul searching for his mate!
