Stunning view of the nest this morning---blue sky but looks very windy and I'm sure bitterly cold but what a beautiful backdrop to the nest.
A lot of the snow has gone from the range in the background since yesterday.

I wonder if they pointed the camera in that direction deliberately to show off the most scenic view? Inspired decision if that's the case.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.

It's not Monty or Nora, but stunning news still the same..
These two ospreys were the two Glaslyn chicks being ringed in 2007. So, they would be six years old now, but neither of them had ever been reported as having returned to the UK as adults.
UNTIL NOW! White YA, the bird nearest the camera, has been spotted on a lake just south of Bristol, Blagdon lake.
Keep watching that Test Card, its working. More later......."
