Dyfi are going to have a nest mic this season : https://www.facebook.com/dyfiospreyproject?ref=ts&fref=ts
Oh yes, I know what you mean now. The Dyfi site and the team are just amazing. I am reluctant to abandon LG, but Dyfi and Rutland are catching my eye more and more!

Yes I know what you mean. No comparison is there? :)

I certainly don't envy LG the dreadful broadband coverage - it must be so frustrating for them as well as for us.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
There was a heck of a job at Dyfi putting phone cables down. Remember the big pull? Now look at them :)
Don't know what would be entailed at LG to be honest.
That is probably part of the problem CLARE, which is such a shame. I live in a poor broadband location (despite being close to all things high tech at Cambridge) and can watch that blasted wheel go round and round and... and have every sympathy.
Chloe, perhaps part of the problem is broadband reception, but also that loads of special designations for the Forest which may make digging up the land for trenches etc a problem?? Just a thought. I know they did it in 2010 for their new electricity cable, but I don't know anything like enough to comment on the reasons for their web cam problems. But I had better not go down that route too publicly!
I don't know enough of what is entailed either Sheila.
Another miserable day at Dyfi - water droplets on the lens - oh when are we getting some nice weather :(

I sincerely hope that the nice weather will turn up when eggs start being laid, and continue when the chicks hatch!

Whatever the problem/s a simple explanation and updates would save much grief, frustration and anger amongst the staunch supporters on here.
Birdies LG DU update.
