Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.

Yay, that's a much nicer picture - all it needs now are two suitable birds! As much as I like crows they're a bit on the small side for a nest this size.

LOL Sheila, yes they are but a chat box would be instant and in real time :)
Trouble is, most chat boxes tend to be a bit fast (if lots of people are chatting) and you lose track of comments quickly so the threads will still be useful.

Yes that's right Clare it would. I imagine right next to the streaming video. Just guessing but can't see how else it could be.
I'm not a techie as you will have gathered. So it's like the chat-with-a-friend-bit that sometimes I come across on FB! It's never pre-planned.
I had heard that Dyfi were coming up with some wonderful new ideas for this season. This is clearly one of them.
Some other cams have chat boxes Sheila. Like Ustream for instance. The chat box is on the right of the streaming video. Depends on how many people are chatting as to how fast it goes.
