Lovely picture Clare. I keep meaning to try digiscoping.
ChloeB & Tiger's Osprey Data
We couldn't get close enough - you could hardly see the birds by just using the camera. It took ages to get the angle right, but it was worth it. This is the first osprey family I ever saw and it's wonderful that we have a photographic record, particularly of Ceulan.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Nora had travel on her mind. She left Dyfi two days later.
Tiger Signature
I know, we were quite lucky. We were on holiday in Shropshire at the time - we only arrived the previous day and were absolutely determined to see the whole family at Dyfi. The weather was terrible - torrential rain - but I do wonder whether this kept all three of them close to the nest.
Thanks Clare, lovely photo of a wonderful family! :)

A lovely photo of them Clare and I agree very much devastating to see his remains on facebook. In tears here for a bird I have never seen in the flesh. Its so awful to think of the hard work of his parents, the people at DYFI and his exhausting migration to Africa to end like this.
Thank you CLARE.for the photo
I cannot look at the link I get upset enough every time I think of him.....he did so well after his bad start and for him to die the way he did.......
New blog at Dyfi for Sunday 10 March 2013
Thank you Tiger, that was a wonderful blog. I really hope Einion returns this year, what a great story that would make!
