Dyfi are going to have a nest mic this season : https://www.facebook.com/dyfiospreyproject?ref=ts&fref=ts
Yes tiger and yes probably ok. Hides are hides and not obtrusive and sorry as I am sceptical.
Yes another idea and I am open minded. Yes trains go through everyday and Monty and Nora are used to it as the trains were there before them and you are right they will have thought it through. To me it spoils everything that Dyfi stood for and so delighted Ospreys finally there but to me this as put me right off Dyfi and only my oppinion and no doubt it will be a success.
A good discussion and thank you very much.
I'm no construction engineer (and happy to be corrected by those more knowledgable), but judging by the architects' views in the original blog about the project, much of the structure looks to be wood, and presumably construction will already have started off-site. So once the foundations are in place, it may well not take as long as we might expect to complete the building.
Weather permitting, of course! _Please_ let the weather-gods (goddesses?) be kind this year!
I just want to add, yes it will be ok but it does spoil it for me and only my oppinion.
LOTL is great as you can sit in hides and watch.
I just think this is far too commercial and the basics have been left behind and very sad.
Yes it will be a huge success but I still believe hides are the way forward :)
Rachel thank you and sure it will be finished but it does not change my oppinion. I am sure the Ospreys will be fine but personally, I want hides built :) It will be a huge success without a doubt.

Birdies LG DU update.
Just seen this Tweet from Dyfi .... Report and Ceulan's remains ... I'm in tears this is so sad :'( It's like losing him all over again! Brings closure too, the tributes to him on FB are very poignant... My thoughts are with all the Dyfi Team, and special thanks again to frederik.

NiteOwl Ceulan of all young Ospreys deserved to survive after his hard start and so heartbraking. Thank you for posting and he will never be forgotten :(

So sad to see that, but Ceulan is one Osprey who will never be forgotten.
That was heartbreaking to see, so I'm going to post a picture of Ceulan as I remember him, with both of his parents:
We got this shot by aiming the camera through one of the spotting scopes at Dyfi on August 5th.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
