    Yes, they are - so is East Anglia.  I'm pleased to see all of the Suffolk sightings in particular.  I bet the visitor numbers at Lakenheath have gone up!

    Our herring gulls are red listed birds.  Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.

  • We have been discussing the "2K" sighting on Facebook. General feeling is that it is a case of mistaken identity - ring appears to be on the left leg, so a Scottish bird, and the bird in the photo is surely an adult.

    Amongst the numerous observations of Ospreys in the area, there is one that could have been Breagh:

    7/9 Bréhémont (37) 1st year osprey seen by Benjamin Griard, Julien Présent & Patrick Derrien.
