Osprey in Newhaven   more...

We were driving towards the sea by the harbour station in Newhaven. I saw a large white fronted hawk perched on a telegraph pole. I only had a quick look but the arc shaped greyish brown feathers across its breast were very clear, and it had a white and dark coloured head. Think may have been a juvenile? Very exciting to see an osprey!
