    Does that mean the Gib birds might come our way ALAN  ?  The Dutch birds wont will they

    Cirrus :

    The Gib birds might come our way but they could easily be Swedish, German or French birds.

    The Dutch birds are mainly en route to Sweden where there is a large osprey population .

    Alan. Osprey sighted at Weir Wood , East Grinstead, today and reported on the SoS site by Nigel D. The south side wood is a well known roosting spot when they visit here. Could it be a stayer?.

    Remarque :Pêche réussie. Harcelé par des goélands, fini par s'éloigner vers le nord, avec son poisson (8h15).

    Thanks from me too Alan for you updates. An osprey sighting in Shetland - not much in the way of forest/tree life there for ospreys although I'm sure the fishing is good.  Have you noticed many sightings there in the past?
