France , Landes : Wednesday, January 2nd, 2013 Marais d'Orx (Générique) / Orx (40) 2 Ospreys (Pandion haliaetus) [Yohann Montane ]
Hoping for that too but Lancashire would be off her beaten track and has to be Scottish birds heading home. Its beginning to be very worrying for her.
ah of course. Im trying to keep positive and think alot of other birds are just making their way across to the uk so its still possible. trying to be optimistic
Bad weather around south west UK and France so hopefully just a delay
I think most likely sightings that stand a chance of being Nora are in Cornwall/Devon maybe, and of course Wales!
No ospreys so far today over Portland, but large numbers of other migrants at last. Just maybe......other Dorset sightings only tend to be posted to the local bird club site late in the evening, although I guess some go to BirdTrack. There was one osprey reported on Sunday, I think, at Pergins Island, Holes Bay in Poole. Forgive me if Alan has this one already.
