Rutland Osprey Team off to Africa next week
Awww - they look thoroughly happy with life and each other, don't they? Good to see it's brightening up there.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
5R jst returned with small piece of twig and egg-cupped...in the centre of the nest......both doing a little nest tidying
a new blog. Wow what fantastic pictures :)

Yes wonderful seagull, he will have the nest ready when his female comes home.
Fish calling, taken at 12.40pm
Ah, bless her - she's still there in the wind fish calling. I wonder if 5R is going to oblige, or she can see him eating?
13 44 looked in to see Mrs eating, so either she flew in with it, or more than likely has been standing on the remains of a fish while doing all that shouting
13:56 and she flew off
