I am lost - When was Orange ZT born at Rutland or translocated in 1998 or any other year.

I have all the birds listred for RW and can not find Orange ZT connection with RW.

No 99(01) was translocated to Rutland but went back to Scotland and paired up with Orange ZT

Now Orange ZT was unusual in that he has three toes missing and was not thought to be able to feed a family. However he bred successfully with 99 (01) for a few years.

99 (01) did not return one year and the Orange ZT disappeared until today.

  • 01 - 99 raised chicks at Piperdam 2003/2004 after first sighting at wellbeck lake 2001.

Someone said that Rutland water bird Orange ZT that has thrown me - confused as to why they never reported him as another translocation or secret ringing.

  • This is getting better and better!!!

  • More about Orange Zt

Wow. Now that is amazing. 99 (01) was 8 (97)'s little sister.

  • Orange ZT sounds like quite a bird!  It's amazing how some individuals can overcome such a disablement.

Our herring gulls are red listed birds.  Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.

  • Tiger - Thank you for all the information you are providing, this is so interesting!
