Rutland Osprey Team off to Africa next week
Thanks Sheila but I think one was not Mrs 5R as surely she cannot fish that fast as it was 17.05. and she could not have been there? Unless she has stashed somewhere lol. Really confused:) Oh the most wonderful news, I and bet a few were getting concerned.
FANTASTIC! Another big sigh of relief and more admiration for these remarkable birds
Keith, I captured Mrs and now 5R but beginning to wonder if that little minx in both pics :)
I thought that little minx was sent packing.

There was a lot of mantling and how can Mrs 5R catch a fish so quick. Maybe she can. Tim has tweeted that Mrs 5R gave 5R a fish :) Sheila you did see it, have you any thoughts:)
Tiger thank you for the blog and Tim is so quick :)
I am not a Twitterer as such, but have started ticking boxes so I can read them on my laptop. I saw the one from Rutland saying he was back. Put the camera on and saw two on the nest, one with a fish which was snatched by the other. So I guess they were both there. Rutland website put up a brief vid, in their announcement of his return, of him on the nest alone. He is there now - at least I think it is him! He is very distinctive with a dark stripe down his forehead - must check the book! Oh, he has just flown off. Hmm and he is back so that was an exercise flight then.
