Rutland Osprey Team off to Africa next week
Crows have now left. Empty nest once more.
Birdie's DU Summaries 2018 https://www.imagicat.com/
We were watching the crow saga this morning and took lots of pic's but see it is well covered. I just think the crows are doing a spot of house work, washing the dirty dishes up! lol ... Mrs5R was certainly putting them in their place when they got too close. :)

Does anyone know what direction the cam faces at Rutland?
Tiger Signature
Tiger, I'd say roughly due east.
Birdies LG DU update.

Thank you. It is always very useful to know that.
Tiger, If it helps have a look at this map www.rutlandwater.org.uk/.../map-of-the-reserve from the 'Old' Rutland site. The camera is in Manton Bay, at the bottom of the screen, and most observations are carried out from Waderscrape Hide which looks out on to it. The camera faces the dam as far as I know. Alan Petrie will no doubt advise if he sees this as he visits regularly.
Camera definately faces east.
Thank you Alan. I knew you'd know!.
I too would reckon "eastish".
This pic was taken last year on my not posh camera, from probably Waterscrape Hide looking across the water. Pictures from Shallow Water Hide (further round to the right) are generally more photogenic with Burley-on-the-Hill House in the background. I have just looked at GE and I think you can ID the nest pole by a shadow with a dark lump on it!
Edit! Sorry, I've taken so long faffing around I see ALAN has commented.
The more the merrier. Sure Tiger won't mind.
