Hi Alan
The Osprey was still at Warnham Nature Reserve, Sussex this morning, we got some good views as it sat across the lake from the reserve and as it fished until it was mobbed so much it went elswhere. Couple of poor pics below.

According to the BTO 197 ospreys were ringed in 2009, 182 in 2010 and 164 in 2011.
Some really great photos by Steven Whitehead, which I think were being taken while I was there on Tuesday; run the Slideshow.
From these, I think we can say:
Thanks Sue. Fabulous slideshow. I am surprised it stayed around with it's fish so long, as it was being harassed so much.
Excellent photos Sue, I tried the enlarge option, the detail is very good.

What a gorgeous slide-show, SUE, thanks so much! Poor bird, being pestered like that :o

What a marvellous set of shots Sue - shows in such detail the changing positions of ospreys' wings and the magpie in flight was a delight even though it was being a pesky nuisance. Thankyou for sharing these

Latest update and photo.
Birdies LG DU update.
That's interesting Mike - I thought it had left, as there had been no reported sightings since the 16th, but a twitter message on the reserve blog also indicates it was there yesterday.
Hi. Just seen this posting , I also thought it had long gone but having seen this a trip to Warnham looks on the cards for today regardless of this gloomy weather.
