This topic replaces Satellite Tracked Ospreys (non-LG) Mar-Aug 2012
N.B. There are still some missing details (and possibly birds) which I will add once the information becomes available.
Swedish osprey 57375 has crossed over into Morocco and is near the Barrage Al Massira reservoir despite a spurious class B signal from 1000 miles out in the Atlantic:
On 20.10.2012 BlueYD was less than 10 miles from Ceulans range:
Ilmar still heading south in southern Angola near several national parks:
Ilze seems reluctant to cross Med. Latest position near Messina in Sicily:
Ilze takes the 'Conservative' route and does a U turn:
Ilmari well settled near the Mudeka Creeks in coastal Cameroon:
It's so good of you ALAN to keep us so up to date with all these birds. Thank you. The maps are so good to have too
Looks like Ilmar has stopped for now on the coast of Southern Angola just north of Tombua:
Interesting to see if he stays in the area or moves on after refuelling.
