This Topic has been set up to follow the Autumn 2012 migration and wintering of satellite tracked ospreys, other than Caledonia and Alba from Loch Garten, who are followed on this thread, Tracking Caledonia & Alba
This topic replaces Satellite Tracked Ospreys (non-LG) Mar-Aug 2012
N.B. There are still some missing details (and possibly birds) which I will add once the information becomes available.
Tiger I cant seem to find the "Add Menu"
Bbabs - does the top left hand corner of your Google Earth window look like this?
Click on "Add" to pull down the menu, then click "Network Link"
The Places panel shows how it looks when you have set up Google Earth to see LG, Dyfi and Rutland tracking.

Beatrice nearly home
She certainly hasnt hung around. Wish we knew where Lady is but perhaps she too just goes to Spain.
Kawartha Lakes osprey 54706 is on the move:
Some news of the other 3 ESTLAT tracked ospreys:
"In Estonia we provided another osprey with a transmitter too, a male bird in Tartumaa. He is still at the nest location.
In Latvia both birds in one osprey pair got transmitters; of them the female started her migration on August 20th, and the male is still at the nest."
Piret is at a stop over on the Black Sea.
Hi! Can someone tell me please how to see Blue's journey from Loch of Lowes on Google Earth? I managed to find instructions for LG and Dyfi but not for him. Thanks. Also, how can I delete some of the routes from Google Earth? Thanks.

There is a tab that says view in Google Earth.
To get rid of the other tracks you either uncheck them or delete them.
