Sat track schedule Spring 2014
LG 7 days; RW & SWT nil; LDOP varies
JSB Do you have this that Ceulan flew another 90 mls and is now (this morning) 20 mls N of the capital Nouchashot(probably spelt that wrong) ( Dyfi FB 10 hours ago)
I'm sure this thread isn't for wailing, but I do hope we get an LG GE update soon!
I want to see our birds' progress, not just hear about it, it's not the same ;-)

Yes, it is further back on the thread. at 8.41am today. I don't mind getting the odd prod, just in case I miss something. :o) No luck so far about any sightings of Caledonia in Seville. I cannot believe an enormous bird like her could be flying around a city, without being seen and reported somewhere.
thank you jsb and moffer much appreciated. Cirrus I will also be happy to see YD points over land too!! My heart was in my mouth at first until I saw how similar the route was to albas and if he keeps on this route he will reach land :))
Lucky13 does not have a kml file, which is a pity. All there is is a rather brief note on Flickr. EDIT: This should read.....we cannot access the kml data or see the detail of the track points, unless they are published.
"13 has moved more slowly over the last few days, he is South of Valencia and just North of Alicante in a mountainous region of Spain, perhaps a little akin to the Lake District. He has flown over 1000 miles in ten days, so who can blame him for taking a well earned rest!"
I made some images, but there is no evidence to support his movement, that I can find.
The photo symbols in the middle picture, are of small houses (mas), sort of mountain retreats I think, or photos of paths or tracks. As they said, a bit like the Lake District. So no pointers there, as to what is going on.
EDIT: I just noticed....the spreadsheet should say north of Alicante. I have corrected my copy, so it will be correct on the next upload.
Jsb, do you think it possible that 13 is taking it easy for a while. I don't really understand all the different types of signals from their backpacks but is movement not positive in this case? He appears to be near a lot of water, hopefully full of fish?
Personally, I don't think it is looking good for 13.
It does look terminal for 13.

[/quote]Just a thought.....perhaps people there have seen ospreys around before but WE don't know because they're not tracked ????
Isn't Seville in Analusia the place where FFyona Campbell walked through in 1994 (We know she did because it was covered on the BBC) ? and some Scottish ospreys were translocated to over the last ten years?
